Villa Ambiente

Villa Ambiente is built for il dolce far niente; Italian for the sweetness of doing nothing. This four-bedroom house in Jimbaran sets the mood for slow living, opening along its length to a tropical garden, gazebo, and a 16m pool next to a reflecting pond that carries the view further. A group of eight can spread out or gather with ease in this 400sqm property.

Three ground-floor bedrooms are right beside the pool, so the daily swim is a short walk in bare feet (as you do). The master suite has the upper floor to itself, with high ceilings and perched over the pool and into the trees. Every bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom with a large bathtub, too. Between swims, the full kitchen and the vaulted living room are ideal for coming together: playing board games, watching films on the Smart TV, or just plain old lounging.

Daily housekeeping and service staff handle the practical side, so the day stays yours, effortlessly. Your concierge takes care of the rest: from dinner reservations and grocery shopping to nanny services and massages three times a day (depending on the holiday you had in mind).

Elsewhere on the Gending Kedis estate, there’s a restaurant, a lagoon-style pool, and a shared fitness room with treadmills and ellipticals for anyone keeping to a routine.
