I had the privilege to stay at this lovely place with my friends recently. The whole place has a charming, peaceful atmosphere that gave me reprieve from the hustling and bustling city.
The resort is thoughtfully designed, with wide spaces, and the beautiful mountains and sunsets made the stay extremely memorable.
I loved the pool, jacuzzi and treetop house. Meals at the communal area was unhurried and the food cooked by the resident chef was amazing, and the service impeccable.
The owner and staff were incredibly warm, hospitable and went all the way to make me and my friends feel welcome and comfortable. A big shout out to Suri and the team.

Modern yet beautiful property with a great view overlooking the hills. The property is well maintained, and the location is quiet and peaceful.

They also helped us explore the local area including visits to the waterfalls. Highly recommend families to venture to Munduk and stay at Altavista.
Pak Suri and his team took really good care of us and were really prompt in helping with arranging meals onsite and drivers for day trips out! Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the usual spots in Bali.

A true little corner of paradise perched in the Munduk mountains. What struck us most was the absolute calm that reigns at Altavista, a true luxury after the hustle and bustle of some of Bali's tourist areas. We immediately felt at peace.
The staff was incredibly kind from start to finish. Always available, discreet yet very attentive: the room was impeccable, the little touches were welcome, and they truly wanted to make us feel at home.
And what about the view? Every sunrise overlooking the mountains left us speechless. It's a place we won't forget.

A tranquil paradise nestled amidst the clouds, Alta Vista has been our resting place for the last 2 nights.
It is on first time staying at Wanagiri despite coming to Bali countless times, and Alta Vista has left an indelicate impression.
Away from the hustle & bustle, it is peaceful and restful.
Pak Suri and his team been fantastic, making us feel at home, the meal here deliciously prepared, the pool was inviting & the view were simply breathtaking.
We took a 3 hours hike (though 5 did not think that pak Suri expected that) towards twin waterfall it was well with the journey and the highlight of our stay here as well.

We have visited Bali so many times and this is the best holiday we have overhead.
Amazing views and lovely villas, delicious Balinese meals and Babi Guling to crispy duck and topped off with a fantastic poolside BBQ, we have never eaten so well in Bali!
We hiked to many beautiful waterfalls and snorkelling at Menjangan island was great - clear waters and so many fishes, corals and we even saw a deer !

If you want a quiet place on top of the mountain with an amazing view over Lovina and more this is the place to be.

We had such an incredible stay at Altavista Bali! We loved the location up in the clouds. It was so peaceful compared to other areas of the island. The staff was incredible and played with our daughter every day! The food was great, our room was so beautiful and the property was just perfect!
The villas are marvelous and spaceous and have a great view down the valley. The bath is provided with a shower, a flower bath and a mirror door and the beds and pillows are wonderfully soft. It is espacially beautiful in the evening, when you can see the light of Sanur glittering in the distance. It can get cold in the evening, but the warm morning sun makes up for it perfectly. I recommend to enjoy the view from the "Treehouse", to where you can also have your food delivered. Both pools are heated, though the smaller one is hotter than the bigger infinity pool. The meals can be ordered previously. For instance, if you want to eat at 9:30am. you can order your breakfast the evening before and they will bring it to the table in front of your villa at 9:30am. where you can eat it while enjoying the morning sun. The food itself is fresh and very good. It has to be said, though, that there isn't much to do up the mountain, which is why I would recommend a stay of around one or two, maybe three days.
All in all we - my family and I - are very pleased. The service is first-class and the employees are always friendly and obliging. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This place is cool (around 20°C) day n night. It has beautiful views of valley below from the heated infinity pool as well as a great chef n massage which can be arranged.
Suitable for the young n older n honey mooners, it is wheel chair friendly n has wifi.
The villas are large n luxurious n i loved the super soft cushions n bedding. Clean n comfortable bedding, let oneself sink into the bed n pillows.
We spotted a woodpecker in the morning as we awoke to stunning views from our bed!
In the night as we walked down to the garden pavillion, we looked up at the clear dark sky filled with stars n the milky way!!!
It is a place one can truly relax n forget all your worries. Private n attentive cheerful staff help make the experience one of privilege n honor.
One has to see n experience it for oneself!!
